How to activate issue types

Hello,

Our team is currently trying to create a project plan, but we are only seeing the "Task" issue type available. Unfortunately, we’re unable to view or select other issue types such as "Epic" (I was unable to switch the language from Korean to English in the settings, my apologies).

 

Could anyone help me on how to activate other issue types such as epic and so on please?

Thank you for your question.

You can add new or existing issue type within project specific issue type scheme.

Make sure while adding issue type (which is now Work Item) if the Issue type scheme is shared with multiple Jira projects then you might need to create project specific issue type scheme and add work item to it.

Create and configure your work items

If you are using team-managed Jira project then you can refer Set up work types in team-managed projects

Hello, Good day. Please go to projects >> project settings >> Work items >> work types and add the work type. If this Team managed project, go to project settings and add a new work type. Thanks

Jira에서 톱니바퀴 > 업무 항목 > 업무 유형에 Epic이랑 있는지 먼저 체크하시고,
해당 페이지에서 Epic을 현재 프로젝트의 화면, 유형 구성표에 추가되어 있는지 체크해서 추가하면 보일 거에요 !
