How to add a chart to issues-panel?

I would like to have an additional bar chart on the issues-panel, specifically showing the breakdown of issues Type. We are just beginning our third week of evaluation of this product (which appears excellent by the way!) and have not found faq/docs/forum that explains how to do this yet. Can you provide assistance / pointers?

Is it the 'Issue Statistics' gadget that you are looking for? You could add this to your dashboard and select the statistics as 'Issue Type'.

While that is close in concept, I am not seeing a way to place this on the issues panel itself, rather just on my dashboard. When I say issues panel, I refer to what you see when you pick a project, then the word Issues along the left edge, which then displays a number of bar graphs in the main pane.
