How to add a new status in new JIRA interface?

I am not able to find any option for adding a new status in JIRA. Please suggest how it can be done.

Here is the documentation provided by Atlassian for defining a new status and then adding to a workflow. The first step is adding the status to JIRA and then subsequent steps are editing a workflow to take advantage that new status.

This is the example of creating a status in old JIRA interface. I am not able to identify these options and routing in the new interface.
