Hi guys,
i want to add some checklist fileds on every sub tasks discription with different values
for example check the image
created a subtask name Fruits (Q1-Q3) and a checklist for it
Check the colour,Check the Taste & Check these value these are the default fileds need to be created on every subtask in the project but the extension which is (Q1-Q3) will be diferent in every task for eg. (A1-A3) , (B1-B3) and so on
so i have number of sub tasks which i need to create a checklist and need to mention the bracket field on every check list.
do i need to create any automation rule for it ? and how
kindly help me
Thanks & regards
Yash
I use issue checklist pro and I have it so when I create an issue or transition one I edit the field `checklist text` and I put
[ ] checklist item 1
[ ] checklist item 2
[ ] checklist item 3
and that seems to work flawlessly with the automations. I've never gotten the saved checklists to work for me :(
(default checklist based on type wouldn't work for my use case)
Anyways hope this is helpful!
Which checklist app are you using? I use Issue Checklist Pro which allows me to set a default checklist based on issue type. I'm wondering if your app allows you to do the same. If so that might be the right solution?

Hi Yash,
You can set checklists per sub-tasks via Automation for Jira using Smart Checklist Pro.
Here are the detailed steps: Add Checklists to Subtasks while New Issue creation.
