How to add several timelines to the roadmap for the same epic?

I am trying to create a timeline for an epic, for which an activity should start and end with a period of no activity, and then start again (as in photo). I could create several epics or child issues, but that either takes more space of the table or is not as visual as the timeline for an epic. Is there a solution for this one?Screenshot 2023-02-07 104643.png

Hi @Veronika Guseva

It looks like you may be trying to plan around dependencies. If you are open to third party apps, we've solved for this at minware with our new predictive roadmap.

Our roadmap automatically shows dependencies, weighs weekends, and in addition to being able to roll down from epic to subtask we offer a breakdown by task assignee so that you can coordinate with your team.

We offer a free trial, let me know if you would like to check it out!

Hi @Veronika Guseva , welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Unfortunately this is not possible, as Epics should only have one start and end date so this is how the system is designed. If there is an 'off' period where the Epic isn't being worked on, this wouldn't easily be reflected on the roadmap, it would just appear from the first start date to the last end date, such as the below
