How to add task to a story ?

I created a new project with next-gen , but now I create a story but can't add sub-task to that one. How can I add one there?

Hi @Dev Ubitec - Next-gen projects currently don't have the subtasks functionality. However, I can confirm that it's on our team's radar, and will be coming in the future. You can check out our public roadmap for updates: https://www.atlassian.com/roadmap/jira-software.

Thanks for the answer! However, what would you recommend? create an story and add task as linked issue? or what is better?
