How to add unsupported custom fields into Jira Plans

Hi Team,

I'm trying to add a custom field for estimating time in Jira, the current setup in the Jira plan already has an Estimates field, however if I update them it ends up in Time remaining not on Original Estimate in Jira.

So I tried to add a custom field called Estimates(h) to all Jira screens but I could add them into Jira plans. Could anyone help me answer the following questions

1. How can add unsupported custom field in Jira plans?
2. OR any other way to add Original estimate field into Jira plans?

Add the Custom Number field to Estimate in your board and choose that field in Plans.
