I have created the Requirement with Issue Type = Requirement and Requirement Type = Story in JIRA and linked it in R4J.

Workflow assigned to it does not have testing step involved. How we can assign the Development completed Issue Type= 'Requirement - Story' to Testing?

Hello @vasudev vasudev ,

I´m Bernhard from Ease Solutions, the vendor of R4J. To support you best on such questions, could you please open a ticket on our service desk

What I´ve understood, you have:

  • Requirement ABC-1: "I want to have a login UI in my tool"
  • Story ABC-2 "Login mask with name field, password field, ..."
  • ABC-2 is linked to ABC-1 with "implements" link type

Now you need a

  • Test ABC-3 "Test with user ABC, password ***"
  • which you could link to
  • ABC-3 to ABC-2 as "tests"

To display this chain ABC-1 "is implemented by" ABC-2 "is tested by" ABC-3
you can use the coverage view with three columns

  • First shows all issues of type Requirement
  • Second all Stories
  • Third all tests
  • You will see all workflow states there and also missing relations

Hope this helps you.

Best Regards, Bernhard
