How to assign a sprint to an issue that does not have sprint to it through rest api ?

I have an issue which is not having sprint assigned to it. How could i assign a sprint to it through post call to rest api ?

Hello,

Have a look at Jira Software Rest Api:

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

Im geting 204 message, but the sprint name is not updated in rest api. What could be the reason here ?
