We have two projects and one team is creating issues in one project (Project1). Now I need to assign the item from Project1 to users in Project2.
Note: The users in Project2 is not available in Project1.
I also created a common board with two projects and I could see the issues of both the projects. But I am not able to assign the item to users in Project2.
How could this be handled.
Hi, Pradeeban K
You may need to add users in project 2 as assignable users to project 1 permissions.
You can add it with the following steps:
1. Go to Project Setting
2. Select '' Permission'' on the navigation bar.
3. Find '' Assignable User'' permission and check it or add users in project 2 via the action button in the right corner and edit permission. (You may need to check the browse project permission here, make sure you add the users in project 2).
Hi, @Berat Altunhan
Thank You for your response.
I agree, but the item is not available in Project2. My requirement is to assign the issue which is available in Project1 to the users available in Project2.

It doesn't matter which project the item is in. The important thing is that you authorize users for the relevant project. If you create a group (you can add single if you want) with users in project 2 and add this group as assignable user in the permission table used by project 1, you can now assign the users in project 2 to the items in project 1. In other words, users in project 2 become assignable to items in project 1.
You can read this page. İt's maybe more understandable.
