Hi @i_synitska ! In Jira, the person responsible for performing or doing a task is usually assigned using the Assignee field. When you create or edit an issue (task, story, bug, etc.), you’ll see a field labeled Assignee in the form. Simply click on this field and select the user you want to assign as the performer of the task. If you don’t see the Assignee field, your admin may need to add it to the screen or you may not have the right permissions. By assigning someone in the Assignee field, you’re officially designating them as the "doer" or "performer" for that issue.

Hi @i_synitska

Welcome to the Communit!

On top of what @Sam  said, just to add:

In Jira, each task can have only one Assignee at a time, so the designated "doer" or "performer" is always a single user. However, if multiple people need to work on the same task, you can manage this through the workflow by assigning the issue to different users at different statuses (e.g., assigned to Developer in "In Progress", then to QA in "Ready for Testing").

You can also use fields like Watchers, to involve others in collaboration without changing the main assignee.
