I don't want to do this manually anymore...
Is there a way I can create a Confluence page from a Jira issue, automatically based on triggers, and inject specific information from the issue inside my newly created Confluence page?
I'd like Confluence pages to be templated and to update when Jira issue fields are changed.
Please advise for solutions.
Hello @Josian Bonnafous
If using a third-party app is an option for you, I suggest taking a look at our application Elements Publish.
With our app you can create Confluence pages from Jira issues using recipes. It integrates with Automation and workflows with post-functions but it has many more features than the native solution. Indeed, you can :
* insert any Jira issue data in the Confluence page (and keep the value synchronized between the issue and the page if needed)
* use any Confluence template you need or design the page yourself
* automatically link the page to the issue
* automatically copy attachments from Jira to Confluence
* Insert the jira macro directly into a template with a dynamic JQL
Let me know if you have any question!
Kind regards,
Clara
Thank you Clara, I will have a look at your Publish app and talk to our Atlassian admin.
Seems like it could be a match !
