So we now have backlog as a status option within our tickets within the new default IT service management template are are building but when it is place in to backlog status, I (as a core admin) don't have the permission rights to change it back in to active status like "In progress".  Can't find the value to change to allow this to happen.

Hi @Brad Dyke ,

I'd love to help you out here, but I am not 100% sure I understand what you are trying to describe.

Here's what I got from what you wrote: You edited the workflow and added a status "Backlog". Once transitioned here you can not transition the issue to any other status, right? Could you provide a screen of your workflow configuration?

When you say, you do not have the "permission" to change the status. Is Backlog your first status? Or is it not and the issue is "stuck" once you transitioned it to "Backlog"? In the latter case it is not a permission issue. You can check your project permissions for the "Transition Issue" permission to make sure.
