Hi,
Ask is to have a view in dashboard for the user stories of sprint(thats old) or current sprint along with status in dashboard.
Thanks,

Hello @Rashmi Ambale - Welcome to the community!
If you are open to using an add-on, take a look at this one - Mindpro Insights: Dynamic Dashboards & Reports for Jira.
Using this app, you can create dashboards in seconds in Jira using chart gadgets and dynamic filters.
You can track multiple projects and initiatives (including sprints, epics, and releases and measure progress using time estimation, story points, or issues count).
Additionally, you can have an integrated view of the dashboard, and the issues list on the same screen and enable a hierarchy view to gain a more granular, precise view of your projects, releases, and filters.
If you want to explore more, take a look here: https://mindpro.solutions/insights-learn-more
Give it a spin, maybe can help in your scenario.
Best, Eduardo from Mindpro Team
Have you try the following query ?
You can do project = XYZ and (sprint in closedSprints() or sprint in openSprints()) and type = Story

Hi @Rashmi Ambale and welcome to the community!
Can you please clarify? Are you looking for a list of issues grouped by sprint with their status? I would assume that anything in a past sprint would be closed and anything not future sprints would be in an open (To Do, New, Open, etc.) status category so please provide more context as to what you're trying to achieve with this dashboard.

Yes Mark, I am looking for list of issues grouped by sprint with their status.
Past sprint status: Done, DEV COMPLETE
Current sprint status: Done, Inprogress, DEV COMPLETE, TEST COMPLETE
Future sprint status: Pending Approval
I need to display all the three sprint status along with total of issues/user story in the dasboard.

Ok - Unfortunately, there is no elegant solution. You can try using a two-dimensional filter by sprint and by status. However, there's a major caveat... Any issues that have carried over from previous sprints get counted twice because their sprint field contains all of the sprints they've been a part of and thus the reporting will give you some wonky statistics.
I'm not aware of any marketplace apps for cloud that can accomplish this so you may have to explore a manual periodic data dump to csv or some type of integration with a data warehouse.
