Hi,
I'm planning to remove > 1000 users from a user group with > 1800 members. The problem is that the group browser is only able to show 200 members at a time and claims these 200 to be "the first 200 users". This obviously can't be true because the shown usernames are distributed throughout the alphabet.
(Or does that mean those are the "first" users in order of being set up in the past?)
Anyway - how do I tackle this? If I can see only 200 wildly distributed users and pick out those to remove, at some time I'll reach the point where those 200 to see are only ones to be kept in the group.
Any hints?
Thanks in advance
Philipp
Did a bunch of acceptable manual work: firing each of the pages of the user browser display in an own chrome tab und handling the remove action for each affected user the same way. About a million clicks but <1h work.
JCLI removeUserFromGroup. If you know the users to remove from a database, use in combination with runFromSql . Other alternatives are removeUserFromGroupWithFile.

Thanks for the hint, but that's a bit to deep into the system for me. Finally, I did a acceptable amount of "advanced manual action" (something with many chrome tabs, which is a kind of click galore but turned out to be less than one hour). Thanks anyway!
