How to calculate velocity/story points of the team with other column than 'Done'/last one

So below is my workflow and columns that I have in JIRA, what I need JIRA to do is to calculate velocity/story points of the team when I end the sprint not by the 'DONE' state/column, but by Deployment or at least taking in consideration the 'Deployment' state as well. I'm not sure how to achieve that, any advice?

Hello Nick,

As you can check on this Documentation, the velocity of issues is based on your board's column mapping. An issue is considered to be 'To Do' when it is in a status that has been mapped to the left-most column of your board. Similarly, an issue is considered to be 'Done' when it is in a status that has been mapped to the right-most column of your board.

That being said, you only need to add your Deployment status to the right-most column of your board.

Thanks for your answer but I need both columns/state as they represent our processes, therefore it is not an issue for us and my question was different. I asked how in THIS EXACT configuration I can do the required calculation.

Hello Nick,

Sorry if I've misunderstood your question.

Unfortunately, I believe there is no way to calculate the velocity of an issue by a status that is not placed in the last column of the board when ending the Sprint.

I believe that you should either add the status together with the other ones in the last board column or move the Deployment column to the most-right space.

If I'm still not making sense, please feel free to provide us with more examples and screenshots of your need so I can better understand it.
