How to cancel a resolution ticket with a status of awaiting approval?

Hello,

 

I need to cancel a resolution ticket with a status of awaiting approval. Our Jira is connected to accurev and I've already tried to disassociate the issue to the jira ticket but still couldn't find a way to cancel it. Is there anything I can do on my end? Thank you!

my guess is that your current workflow does not provide a 'cancel' transition from 'awaiting approval' to your 'done' status. Without seeing your workflow I would make the following recommendation. Edit your workflow (admin action only) add an "All" transition called "Cancel" into your 'Done' status. On this transition be sure to include a Post Function to set the Resolution to "Cancelled" or similar value. Additionally, should you have a 'reopen' transition be sure to include a PF on that transition to clear the Resolution.

Not sure if i got this right.
Do you have a ticket that now have a resolution e.g resolved or solved something similar., even if it now is on a different status, meaning it has been "reopened".

if this is that case you have to do a change in the post function.
