How to change card color when moved to blocked column

Is there a way to change the color of a card to RED when moved to the blocked column and an alert to sent to key stakeholder notifying them of the block?

Hi Morgon,

You can go to the board settings ->Configure -> Card Colour -> select RED colour ->  Colours based on - Select 'Queries'

Then you can write an appropriate query to fulfill your need

"status in (<write all the status mapped to the blocked coloumn>)"

This is close, but how do I turn the entire card red and not just the edge?

Perhaps with some javascript hackery, but not as a standard Jira feature

If you do find a way to do this, please don't use red. 1 in 12 colorblind men will thank you for that.
