How to change due date input to format in Jira OnDemand?

I need to have field, that I can enter due date and due hours (not nessecary the same field, but it would be nice). I've seen, that there's possibility to change due date format in jira download via advanced settings but I can't find solution in Jira ondemand. I was thinking about using date time picker but I can't change input format (or I can't find it). Is it possible to have date and time due date field? Or if I would like to exchange included due date field to custom date time picker what other Jira settings to I have to change so that Jira would still work?

The default due date field is a date only type field and not date-time, I'm not sure you can change the field type.

May I know what problems you're having with creating an alternative datetime custom field for the same purpose? If the problem is that you would simply like to change the input format for the date-time custom field for OnDemand, you can contact OnDemand Support via https://support.atlassian.comto change the input format to how you would prefer it to appear. Ensure you don't name your custom field the same name as the Default Due date field to avoid confusion though.

Also, note that if you're using a custom field to track this information, you may not be able to use 'duedate' in a jql function to retrieve issues whose due date/time are stored in your custom field.
