How to change filter

Hi, Im trying to change my filter to just show my "In Queue, In Progress and Waiting for Customer" tickets in that order. Each change I make kicks it back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

This is what my filter shows now 

assignee = currentUser() AND resolution = Unresolved ORDER BY STATUS ASC

Hi @Paul Taylor ,

Can you please explain a bit deeper. You are using filter in boards or what you are saying is an JQL? Do correct me i am wrong

Im using the JQL but I was able to figure it out and solve my issue. Thanks @Aravind Koushik Gobburu
