How to change status of parent story to "Ready for Testing" when all sub-tasks have been closed

Hi everyone! Like the title says, I'd like my stories to be automatically moved from Open or In Progress to Ready For Testing when all the sub-tasks have been closed. I've been playing around with workflows and I can't get it working. What should I be doing instead to make this work? Thanks!

Note: I've looked into post functions and I don't have anything that relates to changing the parent task. I can copy it, but that's not what I'm looking for...

You would need an add-on for it.

For example, you could use the Power Scripts add-on:

Oh darn. Thanks for the answer, but I don't have the budget to buy addons right now. That's a bummer something like this doesn't exist in JIRA for everyone. Thanks.

with Jira out of the box you would not have that functionality, there is a add-on which will do that trick for you Jira workflow toolbox with this add-on you can implement that that you asked for.
