How to change the Jira board/filter owner of an inactive user?

I want to change the Jira board owner, but it doesn't work. I think it has to do with the user being inactive. And if I do it the way you see below, I can't find the board/filter

Changing the filter ownership is how to make the change, as you correctly mentioned in the other posts. In this case, try following the steps in https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/jira-cloud-unable-to-change-or-delete-filters-owned-by-de-activated-or-deleted-users-1252001153.html. You should be able to make the change.
