How to clear Dashboard list of completed tasks

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

Once a jira task is completed, how to you remove it from the dashboard.jspa list please?  I only want to see the items that are not marked as Done or Closed.  All items still remain on my list even after complete. 

Thanks for any assistance

1. Remove the Assigned to me gadget.

2. Create a filter which lists only tickets which are not completed. Add any other criteria that you may want.

3. Then add a gadget called "Filter Result" and choose the previously created filter in #2.

this should give you the desired result.

That depends on what gadget you are using to display the tasks, as that determines how it is thinking something is complete or not.

Could you give us the title of the gadget you are using to start with?
