hello community :) I am a normal user in Jira, and unfortunately I don't know the command on how to close this huge amount of tickets at once. Is there a solution for a frontend-user to automatise this process?
I have already created a filter which lists all the mentioned tickets
(text ~ "Synchronisierung" AND assignee = P00919189 OR assignee = P00920438 OR assignee = P00800912)
Now I would like to close these tickets at once by adding a message/comment to the employee, somthing like that:
(text ~ "Synchronisierung wurde durchgeführt. Das System steht Ihnen nun zum Lernen zur Verfügung.
Bei Fragen oder Problemen, werfen Sie einen Blick in unser Confluence Dokument.
Falls Sie dort keine Antwort zu Ihrer Frage finden sollten, melden Sie sich gerne per E-Mail oder telefonisch bei Ihren Digital Learning Managern")
Can somebody tell me how this command should look like?
Hello Julia,
What you are looking for is the Bulk Edit option. In the filter you just created, in the upper right corner, if you have the correct permission and have a standard or better plan, you will see the option Bulk edit. It is fairly straight forward, let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Nico.

Hello Julia,
The Bulk function is a bit confusing at first, in Jira when an Issue is move from one status to another, for example from Open to In Progress it is refer to as a Transition . Said this, I see you selected "Edit Field" in step 2. Since your objective is to Closed tickets you want to select the option, Transition Issue, see picture below:
Than you can select the Initial Status of the Issues
And the destination Status for the issues, in this case Done.
I recommend you practice in a Sandbox environment so you can see the different options for the Bulk Edit function.
Let me know how it goes, best regards.
Nico.

Hi Nico, thank you so much, I got a bit further, but now I am stuck at step 3, where I don't know where to find the option : close all tickets with same comment: (which one is correct?)
