How to create a custom field in Jira on Issue with DATA type alphanumeric?

I want to migrate Salesforce oppty into jira issues so i need to create a Custom field in Jira,which will have alphanumeric values, as salesforce will have id's that are alphanumeric

What type of field?. Like when i go in issues--> Custom Fields--> Create Custom Fields.

There i can see various Data type but not sure about the Datatype which will take alpha numeric value. My Value is like this 0065g00000Xpq1TAAR

The Dataypes provided there are as follows:-

Checkbox,DatePicker,Datetimepicker,Labels,number,paragraph,radiobuttons,select list,select list(Multiple & single choice),Short text(plain text only),URL field,User picker.

Kindly help me out.

Short Text is the type you should use.

A single line text field can have any alphanumeric value.

Please see the documentation on how to create custome fields and add them to your project's screen schemes:
