Every month we each have a performance review with our CTO and talk through the tasks we've completed that month. What I would like to do is be able to take a report to my CTO showing him all the tasks Ive completed and are in progress between 2 dates.
Im also going to add some labels to each task (Like, Lack, Learned) and would like to be able to show some groupings on my report to group completed and in progress tasks by these 3 labels. If not then at least sort by them in a custom field.
It would also be handy to be able to chose columns displayed.
Worth noting, we only ever have a single project on our Jira board as we only have a single piece of software (website).
Hi Alex,
I would direct you to Dashboards. This will allow you to present your data in an easily consumable way using various charts and graphs. I would recommend the following gadgets:
now for the dates if this is and end of month meeting (before the 1st of the following month) I would use “startofmonth()” in your JQL. If you need specific dates then you need to incorporate the dates into your JQL.
Hello @Alex
You can try a third-party add-on - Time in Status for Jira Cloud. It generates 7 types of status reports. Just choose a date ranges you need and you'll get data on how long an issue has been spent in each status. Generate a report and share it with your colleagues or CTO.
Hope you find it helpful.
Regards, Mariana
