How to create a report( chart diagram) based on two fields?

I have 2 fields named Sprint and Planned Sprint. Planned Sprint is the custom field.
I need to create a report, chart diagram that compares these two fields.

It must display in the current sprint how many issues were completed (Actual Sprint) and how many will be planned for next sprint(Planned Sprint).

Also, I must be able to navigate to those issues from the report itself.

Suggest me a way to do this.

Hi Saranya,

Thanks for reaching out with this inquiry about creating a report based off of two different fields.  I'd like to understand a little more clearly how you are using the 'Planned Sprint' custom field.  You can create multiple sprints at one time, even though only one can be active in a project at one time.  Is there a requirement for this field, or could you not simply add your 'Planned Sprint' issues to a new sprint?

I know that there is a plugin, Multiple Filters Chart Gadget, which you can use to create dashboard gadgets which display results from multiple issue search filters.  You can create issue search filters for each of your sprints and add them to a Multiple Filters Pie Chart Gadget.  This will display one big pie chart of both sprints.  If you select the Pie Chart and Data Table option, you will see a table with links to browse to the filters for each of your sprints.  You can then access individual issues from the search filter page.

I'm sure this doesn't cover all of the angles you are looking for, and technically it's a gadget on a dashboard, and not a full report.  But it does include a lot of the information you are asking for.  If I have misunderstood what you are trying to accomplish, please clarify so I can try and find an alternative solution.
