I first tried to find the issue with "lookup issue"
and then in the creation of the task use the {{lookupIssues}} but it didn't worked and as the function gives a restricted list of values, I decided to have a try with
rather than
Still I have the same results.
The logs are correct. The rule does create the issue in the other project. It is just the link that does not work when I try to do it like that.
Any idea ?
Any ways to achieve what I want to do with the additional fields ?
In addition to John's answer, if you are looking for a way to enhance and simplify your copy and synchronization work, we developed an app called Copy & Sync.
Copy & Sync can help you do several things like:
In your case, you can include a Copy & Sync's recipe in your Automation so you can easily managed what is copied and/or synchronized, make a link between issues, and so on.
I'll be glad to help if you're interested.
(Our app is free under 10 users and we have a 30-Day trial policy, don't hesitate to give it a try!)

Hi Serge - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Try creating the issue as your are doing (but no link stuff).
Then add a Branch for Most Recently Created Issue
Then add a new action for Link Issue and choose the Duplicates link type. Use Trigger issue for the issue.
