How to create group specific masks

Hello everybody,

is there a way, to create custom masks for specific user groups? My aim is to show specific fields for specific groups. Maybe its the wrong idea ;-)

If you want to hide some fields in the issue according the user groups can be done with Scriptrunner Behaviours.

If you want to hide some transitions in the issues can be done native with Jira only.

Hello @Juan José Marchal Gómez i think its the first one, our developers need some specific fields, but different ones like the product owner. They have a different point of view on the issues. So this would work with scriptrunner behaviours?

Yes, with Scriptrunner you can create a lot of automations to show, hide or calculate fields.

I've recommend you to install it as a trial to check it.

But, for working with this plugin you need knowledge about groovy. 

Other solution is checking other plugins more intuitive as "Jira Automations" or JSU...

But Scriptrunner is the number one. With this software you can do everything that you need that Jira doesn't do native.
