How to delete or remove task from issue type from Personal - Project Management business project?

As i need only EPIC in the list for creating issue type and also need to set EPIC by Default.

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

I can see in your screenshot that you are using a Team Managed Project. Unfortunately, at this time, there is no way to delete the 'Task' issue type from JWM Team Managed Projects.

We are aware of this behavior, and this has been submitted as a Bug listed under JWMCLOUD-558.

Although, if you are able to utilize a Company Managed Project, these projects provide much more flexibility and allow you to configure the project, including issue types, however you'd like.

Just an FYI, I tested this in my sandbox and after adding another issue type at the standard level (Story, in this case), I was able to delete the Task issue type.

Hi there,

Because a Task issue type is in the "Standard" issue type category, you need to add another issue type at the same level (such as a Bug or a Story) before you are able to delete the Task issue type.

I don't believe Epics can be standalone issue types in a team-managed project.
