How to delete the issues in the board? If not, what's the impact on jira, will it be slow?

Hi @Minmin.Zhang ,

I don't think delete Issues is the most appropriate solution, you should limit the number of Issues displayed via the issue filters in the board settings.

Hi @Minmin.Zhang

Welcome to the community.

Deleting is not an option for me, as a best practice.

Done issues or even cancelled issues have value based on the content, you might have fixed or declined topics and historical issues will give you contents why and how.

Its also useful for audit trails on topics dealt with or not.

Regarding you board, what is the setting say on you board relating to:

Or as @Ollie Guan mentioned, check your filter on the board and adapt and adjust.

If all is relevant, think of creating multiple boards, with specific filters, for certain issues.

----------

If you do feel you instance is getting slower, archive unused projects. This will remove the issues from these projects from the index and search results.

Most common topics on slow instances, relate to many custom fields, bad or a lot of automation rules and many permission schemes have impact.
