How to disable HipChat Jira plugin permenantly in 6.3 and 6.4?

Daisy,

I simply uninstalled the HipChat Plug-ins in our instance.  Problem solved.

Because of this Security Advisory. We don't use HipChat and don't want to subject to any security problem

A better option is to upgrade, but it's legit. Have you tried clicking "disable" in the UPM?
