How to disable Team field inheritance in sub-tasks?

Hi everyone,

I'm facing an issue with the automatic inheritance of certain fields in sub-tasks — specifically the Atlassian Team field.

When I create a sub-task from a parent issue (e.g., a Story), the Team field is automatically inherited and becomes read-only, so I can’t modify it to set a different value.

Is there a way to disable this specific inheritance behavior for sub-tasks?
Or alternatively, is there an effective workaround to make this field editable or update it through automation, without compromising data integrity?

Hello, @Fredson N_ da Silva ! 

I believe it is not possible to disable the inheritance, once Atlassian considers a subtask as part of its parent issue, not a separate issue. For this reason if a work item is assigned to a team, its subtasks are also part of it.
