How to disable the JIRA Credits page

While this article covers how to disable the button for going to the credits screen, it doesn't speak to disabling the page for those who know the url or who may have book marked it. Is there any guidance on how to disable the page?

For our environment, we implemented some nginx rewrites based off the URI. I don’t have them off hand right now, but they’re pretty straight forward.
