Hey folks,
Tempo Timesheets writes with its system user "TT - Tempo Timesheets" all changes to the work log in the history tab of the effected issue in JIRA.
We now want to hide the whole history tab or disable the function, that TT writes these informations in the history tab.
Here is an example, a screenshot from a detail view of an issue:
Has anybody a solution for that problem?
Best regards,
Dirk
It's been a long time since you mentionned this issue, and ... the behavior seems to be still the same today in the cloud solution.
Did you find a solution for that ?
This is clearly a privacy settings violation, and does'nt match with many privacy regulations rules in the ISO 27k package, so ... we're facing a major issue here.
I'm mentionning you on purpose @Ste Wright as you already answered on this subject.
Is there any evolution ?

Hi @Dirk Fehse
This isn't something I've come across - but your best option would be to contact Tempo's support team - see options for this here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6572/tempo-timesheets?hosting=cloud&tab=support

Hi @Ste Wright ,
thank you for the feedback, but I have already contacted them... here is the response:
Hi Dirk,
Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately Tempo does not have an option to disable that.
What happens behind the scene is that Tempo logs time in Jira, it is Jira that detects the new logwork and update the Activity tab. If there is any action to be done it will have to be from Jira.
I would advise you to contact Atlassian support for further assistance.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,Tempo Support Team
So, now I'm a bit stuck between... :(
Best
Dirk

Hi @Dirk Fehse
Have you tried the support option - contacting Atlassian via https://support.atlassian.com/ ? The Community is made up of alot of other users - support will be able to give you a definite answer!
I don't believe it's possible to stop actions updating in the history / activity tab. You can remove them using certain applications or via the database, but it's not an ideal solution.

Hi @Ste Wright ,
thank you again, I'll try the support. But one more question. Is JIRA writing the same in the history tab, when I'm using JIRA for time tracking?
Cheers
Dirk

Hi @Dirk Fehse
It would appear this is in the History based on your screenshot, which is currently showing the History's activity.
