Im interested in how best to represent data on tickets that have switched between particular status' multiple times. Eg, In Testing --> Reopened --> In Testing, etc
I would like to represent this data to stakeholders. Is there a gadget or report that would serve this purpose well?
You can try Time between Statuses!
This add-on lets configure Status Groups with start/pause/stop statuses for calculation and generates a report based on this data. You will have the ability to set time limits for each Status Group and notification for overdue issues.
I hope, this info helps you
Hi @Daniel Barber you can achieve this by using Scripted Field of Script Runner plugin.

Hello,
Our team at OBSS built Timepiece - Time in Status for Jira app for this exact need (and more)
Using Time in Status you can see how many times each Status or each Transition in the workflow was used.
You can get these counts as an issue list or you can have Time in Status calculate sums or averages, grouped by fields you pick (For example, average number of reopens per project and assignee).
