Hi Yuval I believe Jira does that based on the "Resolution" field rather than status "Done" itself. It's a configuration on your workflow (or board if you're using the simplified workflow), that you can choose to fill the resolution field at the post-functions of the workflow step.

But in short, if you're using a simplified workflow, in your board settings, you can check the "set resolution" box in the "done" column. If you're using a Full Workflow, create a post function in your "Done" transition to set a value to resolution (note if you do this you need to also create the post-functions to unset resolution for all other transitions). And third, if you use a resolution screen, you need to include the resolution field in there (so you can select for instance, Cancelled, Won't Fix, Etc - depending on the resolutions set in your instance).
