How to edit issue type?

How to edit issue types, if I have created an issue with wrong issue type?

Use the Move Issue operation. Keep the project as same and change the issuetype only.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

You can also put "issue type" on your edit screen. It will only let you change to types that are using the same workflow, and are at the same level (i.e. you can't edit a sub-task into a top level issue, or vice-versa)
