In the backlog board there is provision at the bottom of the list to create a new ticket. Team finds this more effective as the component, sprints (when they create an issue in the sprint) are automatically added. All that is required is choosing the issue type and description.
In this scenario the Work Type (a custom field) is not mandated. Hence they miss and a follow up is required to update the issues to the correct work type. How can we fix this?
Also, the field is mandatory by the Behaviour module of ScriptRunner plugin.
The only way I know how to force the required field in this case is to make it a required field in the Field Configuration.
This will work but the case is that some place we won't require it to be mandatory. Will that stand possible via behavior to 'off' mandatory on the screens.
