How to export a JIRA ticket to MS Word in the new UI?

We frequently need to export content from JIRA into MS Word format for use in various documents, but the new UI doesn't seem to have this feature. Has it been removed?

I can switch to the old UI to do this, but what happens when the old UI is removed completely?

You're correct, the new view doesn't have that functionality (yet!)

I believe that Atlassian are rolling out the missing bits (until recently we couldn't convert to sub-task / task in the new view), so hopefully all functionality will be available before they remove the old view. I've not heard anything yet about removing the old view and I'm sure they will publicise it quite widely beforehand
