I saw some questions similar to that but the discussion left the actual issue discussion and headed to another way. So my query is simple that How we can export text execution that has test sets and test cases under the test set to excel.
Your help is much appreciated.
For anyone looking for different alternative ways to export Xray test cases with steps from Jira to Excel, this new blog could be useful for you!
Hi @Bimlesh Sharma , @Praveen Parimi and @Levente Szabo _Midori_
Either using Xray or Xporter and either being Cloud or DC/Server, you can edit the free template "Test Runs Detailed" (available in the Template Store) to export most of the execution information.
If you need additional information, you may download the template and edit its content to export the additional information.
Please check the documentation links below to check the code needed to change the template:
Xray DC/Server: https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAY/Exporting+Xray+Data
Xray Cloud: https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAYCLOUD/Exporting+Xray+Data
Xporter DC/Server: https://confluence.getxray.app/display/public/XPORTER/Xray+Test+Management+for+Jira
Xporter Cloud: https://confluence.getxray.app/display/public/XPORTERCLOUD/Xray+Test+Management+for+Jira
Please contact Xray/Xporter Support (http://xraysupport.getxray.app) if you need further help.
Thank you.
Kind regards,

Hello All,
Was there any solution suggested to this query.
I have a similar requirement, where I have multiple test executions and would need to export all the tests (via Xporter) linked to each test execution in the same excel (with clear seperation of the tests).
We are using XRay

What app are you using for test management and what deployment type are you using Jira with? (Cloud or Server)
