Hi,

We are using Jira on AWS, and it is configured to my company's Okta single sign-on. We need a particular user alone, say XYZ to use the Jira direct login instead of going through Okta.

XYZ is a generic user used for Salesforce integration, and the integration fails due to the re-direct to Okta sign-on page.

Please help filter the user from SSO.

Hi Magesh,

According to Okta's documentation -- Using the JIRA On-Premises SAML App, it seems that we can selectively specify users to use the native service provider authentication (JIRA authentication) via <spUsers>/ <spGroups>/ <spUrls> tag in the okta-config-jira.xml file.

Similar discussion -- OKTA single sign-on, but not for all users

For more details, I would suggest you to engage Okta Support.

Regards,
Kelly
