How to hide menu items in Board-> configure without effecting any other functionality?

In Jira, under Board → Configure, when attempting to hide any of the menu items using UI Fragments, the remaining menu items become unresponsive — preventing users from switching between them. 

How can I hide the menu item, without effecting the tab switching?

Hi @Ruchitha 

You can disable people's permission to create a board by giving them a role in the project that is not allowed to create shared objects in the permission scheme that is used for your project.

Only if you're administrator of an existing board, you have permission to edit its configuration.

Create shared objects is in global permissions and we cannot change it as it would affect our entire project
