I am using a custom priority field for a particular project as it has a different set of prioirities to our usual projects. I searched online and it seems that on JIRA Cloud I cannot configure the Priority drop down list by project to show different values, hence why I created a custom field.
I want to hide the JIRA 'Priority' field from my screens in this project so that users only see my customer Priority field, but I cannot find anywhere to do this.
Is it possible to hide this field from screens?
Figured it out - had to go to Jira Settings > Issues> Field Configurations
Search for the field configuration for that project, search for the 'Priority' field and select 'Hide'
Annoying that I can't do it directly in the project via the 'Screens' selection where you can 'Configure screen'
Hello @Katherine AT ,
You have to go on each screen to delete (no display) the Priority field.
Administration > Screen

Richard, Priority field doesn't work like a regular field that you control through the screen. Try it yourself. You need to do as Katherine AT said and remove from field configuration.
