How to hide the fields on subtask except few fields from parent ticket creation

Hi Team,

Could you please suggest me on this requirement ?

Is it possible on Create screen for subtask to add validation of parent issuetype? For example, could we do this: When parent issuetype in(Bug, Change Request) then hide all fields EXCEPT Product Type, TPD Document Type, Description, Summary.

Hi Lakshmi,

You cannot hide fields in Jira Cloud based on the values of another issue. And you cannot determine which fields show on a create screen based on another issues (including a parent).

With custom fields, you have the option of specifying the specific issue-types that they can appear within. This is managed in the field configuration section by a jira-administrator.
