How to import only open issues Github issues?

Hi everybody,
I need to import a GitHub-Project (the issues, not the code 
) to a Jira-project. I only need the open ones, because there are more then 10.000 issues already closed and only 100 open issues, that we want to migrate.
The default importer (JIRA Software v7.2.4) is only able to import the whole project, that means hours of waiting :/.
Is there a way to import only parts of the project as I remember from the early importers, that were not integrated with Jira but provided as third-party add-ons.
