Hi,

Is it possible to know the number of projects to be analyzed (approximately)

and the number of tickets per project (approximately)

If the number is not too big, maybe we can use an automation.

Best regards

Hi @Rasajna Meka

I'm not aware of this being available in "native" Jira (but I'm of course happy to stand corrected).

This being said, if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, this would be easily available through the app that my team is working on, JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting and filtering by all your issue fields, plus a number of "smart fields" that aren't natively available. One of these fields is the attachments size.

So what you could do is:

  • Create a JXL sheet that includes the attachment size column,
  • enable sum-ups (that's a one-click action), and
  • group your issues by their project (that's another one-click action).

You'll end up seeing the total attachments size per project.

This is how this look in action:

Any questions just let me know,

Best,

Hannes
