I would like to know if it is possible to link I-doit, open source CMDB, with Jira service desk.
The purpose is to link any ticket, incident, created in Jira with an existing asset in I-doit CMDB.

I had a similar requirement although integration to a different system (Idempiere) I used the nFeed add-on sucessfully.
with nFeed you can query the external system with:
1. Direct SQL select on the database level, or
2. JSON services query.
