Can you please advise how to make a copy of the project?

I have an existing project and I would like to copy it and rename it 

and later do some modyfications.

I recommend Configuration Manager for Jira app which gives you the ability to clone/copy existing projects.

You can check CMJ's documentation space and the Project templating (copy/paste) use case.
