I have 2 projects that were deactivated. Ideally, I would like to simply archive them and have access to the Jiras so I can read them in historically.

How can I make a project read-only (with comment only write access) for a given group or role?

I found several articles online, attempted a few, with no success.

Hi @Cristiano Diniz da Silva.

Welcome to the community! I think you stumbled across the right articles!

Simply create an empty permission scheme and start with the "Browse projects" permission for the given group/role. And in your case the "Add comments" project permission as well. That's pretty much it. Of course, don't forget to give yourself some more privileges if necessary.

Best, Max
